Why does it say I have a pending patient?

A pending patient signed up in the Patient App with your email. In Almendra's Patients section you can accept them or reject them without notice.

What is a “pending patient”?

When a patient signs up on their own from the Patient App, they have the option to add the email of the professional who is currently providing them with services.

In the “Patients” section (/pacientes), when you have pending patients you’ll see the following:

When you click a pending patient, a notice will appear where you can accept or reject their request:

What happens if I confirm a pending patient?

When you confirm a pending patient, they will automatically be added to your patient history and you’ll be able to see their information in their patient profile.

The patient will receive a notification that their request was accepted.

What happens if I reject a pending patient?

When you reject a pending patient, they will disappear from your list of pending patients. Their information will not be added to your patient history.

The patient will not be notified about this.
