**What is Zoom?**Zoom is a leader in modern business video communications, with a cloud platform that is easy and reliable for video and audio conferencing, collaboration, chat, and webinars across mobile devices, desktops, phones, and room systems.

Why should I link my Almendra account with Zoom?

When scheduling online consultations and selecting “Zoom” as the video conferencing type, a link will be created for you and your patient to access the Zoom application for the video call. This way, with just one click, you can start the online consultation without needing to create the meeting outside of 

Almendra.

How can I link my account with Zoom?

To link your Almendra account, follow these steps:

1. Go to your dashboard.2. Click on “General Settings” (click on the user icon at the far right of the top bar).3. Click on “Security.“4. Locate the “Zoom” category in the “Linked Accounts” section.5. Click on “Link Account.”

You will be redirected to Zoom’s page where you can log in with your Zoom account. If you don’t have a Zoom account, you can also create one on that same screen.

You will see the permissions Almendra will receive from Zoom, and if you agree, confirm the authorization.

You will be redirected back to your dashboard, and that’s it! Your Almendra account is now linked with Zoom.

How does this integration work?

Linking your Zoom account will allow you to:

1. Generate the conference room link for the video call: When scheduling an online consultation and selecting “Zoom,” a conference room will be created automatically for you and your patient to have the virtual meeting. 2. Modify the start date of the conference room: Editing the start date of a scheduled online consultation will also update the conference room’s start date. For more details on editing a consultation, follow this link: How to edit a consultation.

3. Delete the conference room: After canceling a scheduled consultation, the conference room created in Zoom will also be deleted. For more details on canceling a scheduled consultation, follow this link: How to cancel a scheduled consultation.

**How can I unlink my account from Zoom?**To unlink your Almendra account, follow these steps:

1. Go to your dashboard.

2. Click on “General Settings” (click on the user icon at the far right of the top bar).3. Click on “Security.“4. Locate the “Zoom” category in the “Linked Accounts” section.5.
