What is a free-text meal plan?
In Almendra's free-text meal plan you type each meal by hand instead of picking foods from the database; calories and nutrients are not calculated.
Updated January 7, 2022
In a free-text meal plan, you can write directly in each meal; you don’t need to add foods from the databases.
The main difference with a free-text meal plan is how you enter foods into the meals.
Things you should know:
-
You can write whatever you want; it’s completely free
-
Write one food per line
-
The plan’s calories and nutrients won’t be calculated
-
You can include recipes (ingredients and instructions). We recommend reading this article: How do I add recipes to a free-text meal plan?
-
You can copy a day, clear a day, and have days off
